Tekken 8

God of Destruction (GoD)
Known as 'God of Destruction' (or 'GoD'). In Season 2, GoD 1~7 and â were introduced. In Arabic language settings, 'God' is replaced by 'Lord' due to cultural naming conventions.

God of Destruction Unique System: Dragon Jewels Illumination
Starting from the highest rank God of Destruction (GoD), a Dragon Jewel (Orb) is illuminated around the emblem perimeter with each promotion in the order of Green â Yellow â Orange â Red â Purple â Blue â Light Grey. In the Japanese version, anti-forgery numerals (åŖą~æŧ) are inscribed on each stage, and after collecting all seven dragon jewels, the final promotion ascends to GoD 8 (Ouroboros â) instead of a numeral.
Gold
Gold Ranks â Golden Crests & Arabic 'Lord'
The band that wears the golden Tekken God crests. From Tekken God (27th Dan) upwards, Arabic language settings display 'Lord' instead of 'God' due to cultural naming conventions.
Purple
Purple Ranks â Sovereigns & Emperors
The sovereign-titled ranks, Tekken King and Tekken Emperor. In Tekken 8's post-match screen, Purple ranks uniquely display a gold background instead of purple.
Blue
Blue Ranks â Mythological Deities & Romanization
Fujin (Wind God) & Raijin (Thunder God) represent storm deities and the iconic Mishima Wind God Fist. Kishin & Bushin are also romanized as Kijin and Bujin in customization menus due to Japanese phonetic variations.
Ruler
Ruler Ranks ('Chair' Ranks) â Throne Crest Origin
A tier bracket first introduced in Tekken 7 (it did not exist up through Tekken Tag 2). Nicknamed 'Chair ranks' in Korea because the central Ruler crest features a royal throne design, and known as Emperor ranks (叿Žĩ) in Japanese.
Red
Red Ranks â Four Sacred Beasts to Dragon Crests
In Tekken 6 & 7, Red ranks were the Four Sacred Beasts (Genbu, Byakko, Seiryu, Suzaku). In Tekken 8, they evolved into dragon-themed ranks: Garyu (Sleeping Dragon), Shinryu (True Dragon), and Tenryu (Heavenly Dragon).
Orange
Orange Ranks â Asura & Rakshasa
Derived from Buddhist mythology: Asura (the deity of perpetual combat) and Rakshasa (fierce spirits), sharing the 'Ra' (įž ) kanji as the Rasetsu Tier (įž æŽĩ).
Yellow
Yellow Ranks â Warriors and Fist Titles
Consists of Warrior, Vindicator, and related titles. In the Japanese version, these ranks share the 'Fist' (æŗ) kanji as the Fist Tier (æŗæŽĩ).
Green
Green Ranks â Brawlers, Fighters & Beast Crests
Consists of Brawler, Marauder, Fighter, and Vanguard. In the Japanese version, wild beast titles are used as the Beast Tier (įŖæŽĩ).
Teal
Teal Ranks ('Frame' Ranks) â Silver Picture Frame Crests
Nicknamed 'Frame ranks' in Korea because the emblems of Mentor, Expert, and Grand Master feature distinctive silver picture frame borders.
Dan
Dan & Beginner Ranks â The First Steps
The introductory Beginner and 1st to 3rd Dan ranks reflecting traditional martial arts Dan grading.
Tekken 7

Tekken God Omega & Namco Easter Egg '765'
The final rank added in Tekken 7 Season 4. Bandai Namco's iconic goroawase number '765' (Na-Mu-Ko) is hidden across TGO rank scores and system point values.
Gold
